The Ruby Valley Swimming pool is an outdoor pool located in the town of Sheridan. This pool is one of a few outdoor pools in Southwest Montana. The Madison County Sheridan Alder Park & Recreation District board leases the pool from the Town of Sheridan beginning in 2009. The operation of the pool is the responsibility of the Pool Advisory Club consisting of Ruby Valley Swimming Club (non-profit) members with the SAPRD Park District providing some funding for the pool operations. The Ruby Valley Swimming Club was organized to build the swimming pool and has supported the pool since 1969. Hours and season schedule are subject to change based on weather, pool operations and as determined by the Sheridan Alder Park & Recreation District (SAPRD).
