June 20th - Grand Opening and Hot Dog Barbeque hosted by the Ruby Valley Swimming Club from 6pm to 8pm.

June 20th thru September 2nd - Pool is open for the swim season.

July 11 thru   ......, 2011 - Swim Lessons  Weekly, 50 minute long, lessons available
from 9 am thru noon M-F.      Go to Events/Lessons for more information.

2011 Mini Try-athlon - Tentatively scheduled for July 30th.

         Participate in the Mini Triathlon individually or as a team during the Sheridan Festival.  The Triathlon is August 1, 2009.  Entry fee is $5 for individual and $10 for a team; cash prizes and 8 categories. Check back soon for more details and flyer.  Contact the pool to sign-up.  All proceeds go towards the Ruby Valley Pool.

2011 Swim Lessons
         First day of swim lessons: Monday July 11, 2011.
         Lessons are either 4 day lessons in one week or 2 days a week for two weeks.
                  Sign up for 9 am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday class
                          or     10 am  or 11 am Monday/Wednesday or
                                                    Tuesday/Thursday classes for two consecutive weeks.

            Swim Lesson Fees:
               $25 for one week lesson
               $20 for each additional family member
               Private Swim Lessons are $15 per session
               Mom’s and Tots Swim Lessons: $25 per week

End of swim season, Pool Closes -  Friday September 2nd will be the last day of the 2011 swim season - weather, equipment and funds permitting.           

Hours and season schedule are subject to change base on weather, pool operations and as determined by the Sheridan Alder Park & Recreation District or SAPARD at www.sheridanalderparks.org .  The Ruby Valley Swimming Pool is owned by the Town of Sheridan and leased by the SAPARD.  The 2010 Pool Manager is Colton Hellwinkel; the SAPRD contact is Charlie Rossiter.
