The 2012 swim season Pool Manager, Assistant Manager and Lifeguards are hired. Most are returning guards.

Swim Season is set for 2012!

z The swim season for 2012 will be very similar to last year. The pool is tentatively scheduled to open Friday June 22, 2012 beginning with water aerobics at noon then Open Swim thru 9pm. Regular schedule will begin June 23, 2012, The pool is schedule this year thru Saturday September 1st. IF the weather is very warm with little to no rain predicted, the pool facility is ready & lifeguards are available, the opening COULD POSSIBLY be moved up to June 15, 2012. z Thank you to the Ruby Valley Swimming Club for their efforts in continued support of the pool. The Sheridan Pizza fundraiser in February 2012 was a big success that will allow them to help out with pool needs.

The Pool Club will be providing the lovely flower pots again this year.

The Ruby Valley Swimming pool is an outdoor pool located in the town of Sheridan. This pool is one of a few outdoor pools in southwest Montana. The Madison County Sheridan Alder Park & Recreation District board has leased the pool from the Town beginning for the 2009 swim season. The operation of the pool will be the responsibility of the Park District coordinated by the Pool Advisory Committee. The Ruby Valley Swimming Club organized to build the swimming pool and has supported the pool since 1969.

Hours and season schedule are subject to change base on weather, pool operations and as determined by the Sheridan Alder Park & Recreation District or SAPRD at www.sheridanalderparks.org . The Ruby Valley Swimming Pool is owned by the Town of Sheridan and leased by the SAPRD. The 2012 Pool Manager will be determined by March 30th ; the SAPRD contact is Charlie Rossiter.
